What Hospice Is
Hospice is a specialized care that focuses on the quality of life, for a person dealing with an incurable disease or diagnoses, that have brought about a decline. Hospice care provides compassionate care for people, their family and extended loved ones.
Hospice care focuses on the totality of the person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Our focus is on the symptoms related to the decline, rather than the disease state. Hospice care is family-centered and our goal is to not take the place of the family but to add additional support to the family.
